Navicat for MySQL is a program that allows you to create, design and manage databases in formats such as MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, SQL server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQLite.
The Help feature is rather comprehensive, since at startup it opens different text boxes with explanations of the different functions of the program, which are very useful for novices like me. The program’s Help manual is also very comprehensive.
Navicat offers several tools, all of which are easy to use. It also lets you connect your system with other local or remote servers. Despite the fact that I used the trial version, I found no impediment for using the tools or sections that are limited to the paid-based version.
Having said this, although the program has good help for novices, it is recommended to have previous knowledge in database management for using the features of the workspace and of the program itself. Also, it is a very specialized program, and its cost is not very affordable for common or casual users.
